Experience
Carol has been in post since 2021. She has retained her role of External Verifier for a cluster of schools in Swansea and is an External Mentor for short term supply teachers. Both roles enable her to maintain an up to date knowledge and understanding of the day to day needs of Partneriaeth’s NQTs.
Carol began her career in education in 1996 as a teacher in a Swansea primary school and went on to become a member of the senior leadership team where she gained experience of undertaking the role of acting deputy head teacher. She was the senior mentor for the school and successfully supported student teachers, NQTs and other work experience placement schemes.
