Experience

Julian has worked in regional school improvement since 2017 when he was appointed as a leader of learning.  Julian leads the regional work to support with the development of diversity within the curriculum. He represents Partneriaeth on national meetings with DARPL (Diversity and Anti-Racism Professional Learning) and ensures that all schools and settings across the region have a wide range of opportunities to engage in this work.

Julian has worked in education since 2008 and has led humanities and social sciences departments in schools in London and in Birmingham.  He is an experienced examiner of A Level Psychology. Julian is a chair of governors in a primary school  and is currently completing an MA (Ed)  with a focus on ALN.
